Kids are amazing! Luke (right) asked for donations to The WHS instead of presents for his birthday, and he raised $175!! Here he is with Crocket, who thanked him personally for his generous donation. Michelyn Smith also decided to raise money for the animals on her birthday- She brought in $170.00 Dollars! What a great way to give back to the community at such a young age. Way to go, Luke and Michelyn!
WOW. Local youngster Sydney just dropped by with a donation she raised at her recent Bat Mitzvah... $800! To selflessly contribute to creatures who really need you is a wonderful thing. The youth of Winnipeg truly are an amazing bunch. Congrats and thanks to Sydney, and all the other aspiring philanthropists like her!
	Thanks to the amazing team at Autotown Kia! In the month of May 2013, they brought back their "Likes for Love" Campaign. They pledged to donate $1 to The Winnipeg Humane Society for every "like" they received on the Facebook page. They also hosted an open house on Saturday, May 25th to generate more publicity for the campaign, and donations for the WHS. They generously offered to match all funds donated during the event. The team at Autotown Kia raised $2477.64!! Thanks so much for your love and support!
	Petland Raises Funds for The WHS! Petland raised over $6154 for The WHS through their Paws for Hope and Share the Love campaigns on March 23/2012. Pictured on the left is Alan Siwicki from the Pemina Petland location presenting the cheque to Chris Boult from the Winnipeg Humane Society. Many thanks to Petland for their support!
Birthday Parties are a great way to help the animals! One of our amazing young supporters- Cadence Shire made a visit to the WHS......with $115 that she raised at her recent birthday party! This kind of selflessness, compassion, and generosity never ceases to blow us away. Way to go Cadence!	Amazing young supporters! Emily Taylor, Faith Stewart and Mya Jane Pound from Ecole Dieppe decided to draw original pieces of artwork and their classmates paid 50 cents a piece for the art drawn by one of the girls. They raised $107.20!! Great idea girls!
Shapes Pembina Fitness Fundraiser Shapes on Pembina held a fitness fundraiser on boxing day and raised $1250! Thank you to everyone at Shapes and everyone who participated in the fitness classes! Pictured below is Braydon and Christina from Shapes presenting the cheque to WHS Staff.	Second Cup St. Vital Mall donates Christmas Tip Money to the WHS Many thanks goes out to the staff at Second Cup in St. Vital Mall for donating their hard earned Christmas tips to the WHS.
